What is and isn’t affiliated
The six tours — from the ~$28 kayak rental to the ~$70 e-bike tour — are booked through GetYourGuide and those links are affiliate links. Barton Springs Pool entry is not: it’s $2–$9 paid to the City of Austin at the gate, no site sells it online, and I earn nothing when you swim. The same goes for parking, the free side, and everything else on the prices page.
How it affects the recommendations
The commission rate doesn’t vary enough between tours to be worth shading a review for, and the reviews say so where it counts: the paddleboard page tells you it’s a rental with the weakest rating in the lineup, the kayak page tells you the dock walk-up rate can be cheaper, and the cruise page tells you about the mandatory 18% gratuity. If a tour stops being worth booking, the honest call is also the one that keeps readers coming back.
